Data controller
Lt-lider, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR), assumes the legal obligations regarding the protection of personal data, especially with regard to:
- The existence of files or treatments with personal data.
- The purpose of data collection.
- The recipients of the information.
- The optional or mandatory nature of the questions we ask.
- The consequences of obtaining the data or refusing to provide it.
- The possibility of exercising the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition.
- The identity and address of the person responsible for the treatment or, where applicable, his representative.
For what purpose the data will be processed
The personal data provided by users through the different forms on the lt-lider website will be strictly necessary, appropriate and relevant for the purpose for which they are collected (response to queries and suggestions, sending electronic newsletters and/or or registration for meetings) and will be subject to automated processing.
Data retention
The data will be kept as long as you do not exercise your right to cancel it. Periodically, a consultation could be made to interested people to find out if they continue to be interested in receiving information from lt-lider in order to keep the contact database updated.
Obtaining the data
The data affected by this processing are data that have been provided to us by the interested parties themselves, and that have authorized us to use prior information. The user is informed that their data will be incorporated into an automated file, for which the lt-lider is responsible.
Mainly, the data processed are: name, surname and email.
To whom your data will be communicated
Data will not be communicated to third parties, except under legal obligation. If you intend to do so, the authorization of the affected people would first be obtained.
lt-lider may use the services of companies outside the European area to process data (sending messages) such as Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC), with which it works under the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement, of the which you can see their privacy policy on their website.
Rights
Anyone has the right to know if lt-lider is processing their personal data or not.
You have the right to access your personal data, which means being able to know what data of yours is being used, for what purpose and the period of use, among other information. This also includes the right to request rectification of data that is inaccurate or incomplete and even to request deletion when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
In the event that your personal data has been made public and the person responsible for the processing is obliged to delete the data, you may request this person to take measures to notify all those who process the data of your intention to delete said data. (right to be forgotten).
In some circumstances the interested person may request the limitation of treatment. In that case, the data may be kept for the purpose of exercising defense or claims. In the event that the limitation of processing is withdrawn, the interested party must be informed of this fact.
In certain situations you may object to the processing of your data. In these cases, lt-lider will stop processing your data, provided that there are no other compelling legitimate reasons or that data will be used for the exercise or defense of possible claims.
You have the right to receive the data provided to the responsible person that concerns you or to have these data transmitted to another person responsible for the treatment.
Interested persons have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority.
